Taiwan's National Science and Technology Museum, opened in 1997, located in Kaohsiung City, is the first museum of Applied Sciences in Taiwan. Internationally, in the museum of the same type of the world, it is only second to the Museum of Science and Industry in Paris, France, also the first ranked in Asia.
